Our updated 'Deli To Your Door'
During these strange and difficult times, it can be a help to know you can get fresh food delivered to your door. Our Saddleworth-only delivery service has been up and running since before Christmas, but the numbers of orders we are receiving has, understandably, increased massively over the last few weeks. We have been struggling to keep on top of stock, and just to keep up in general!
To help us deal with this we are splitting our day in two - the shop will be open from 10am until 2pm, Wednesday-Saturday only, at which time we will close to deal solely with deliveries. We have also changed our delivery slots accordingly - they are now all in the afternoon. However, if that really isn't suitable please just give us a call - we will do our best to help wherever we can.
So, first of all choose your delivery slot - this is VERY important, they go really quickly! - and then just shop as you would at any online supermarket. You won't get a payment option on check-out - that will be texted or emailed to you once we have picked your order, and we are sure we have everything you want in stock. The payment link is a one-time only, secure link from our till system through which you can pay using a credit or debit card. Again, if this isn't ideal just call us, we are flexible.
We have suspended our minimum order for the duration of the Covid-19 crisis, and won't need to charge for delivery either. We would ask though, that for items like bread, milk and eggs you give us 48 hours notice wherever possible, as the breadmaker and milkmen are absolutely rushed off their feet and need as much notice as we can give them.
